In a world where people remain conscious after their death and until the moment of their cremation. Carlitos wants to reconnect with his recently deceased father and talk about the feelings he was never able to express. Annoyed by his own funeral, Carlitos' father just wants the day to be over. Between personality clashes and funeral home interruptions, their conversation deviates, pressuring Carlitos about his life decisions, from his relationships to his funeral plans. In a last attempt, he speaks honestly to his father about his fears, but he becomes distracted again. Exhausted, Carlitos prepares to end the day, when his father stops him to check his suit before leaving, taking care of his son in his own way. The two share this moment together and Carlitos manages to leave it with one last thank you. Ready to go your way alone.
